The instrument uses electrochemical principles to prepare metallographic samples. Metallographic samples prepared by electrolytic polishing and corrosion avoid the deformed layer caused by mechanical polishing, so the structure is real without artifacts. Therefore, it is the method for preparing samples of non-ferrous metals and high-temperature alloys such as titanium, aluminum, and copper. The instrument is designed with a higher working voltage and a larger working current, leaving a large margin for the metallographic preparation of larger size samples, especially suitable for the preparation of welding metallographic samples.
